Tonight there will be the traditional Christmas lights in Madrid

One of the most anticipated moments for all the locals during the autumn, especially when we come to the celebration of Christmas, is one in which the Christmas lights begin to illuminate the streets of the capital. A moment that gives a special look completely covering the city of beautiful forms which will take place tonight. If you always liked to enjoy the Christmas lights from tonight you can see it in its full splendor.

Each and every one of the main thoroughfares of the city will be covered with beautiful images in difererentes shades. That if, each zone will have its own designs and different from the rest. Something that is appreciated, if we want to enjoy a lovely walk through Madrid.

On this occasion you have not used or new lighting designs, but are reused from previous years. Thus we see again the wonderful sketches of some of the leading Spanish fashion designers, architects and graphic designers such as Angel Schlesser in Princesa, Hannibal Laguna, Ortega y Gasset, Purificacion Garcia Goya, Jorge Juan Juanjo Oliva, Ana Locking in Fuencarral and Montera, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada in G, Juan Duyos in Bravo Murillo, Amaya Arzuaga General Ricardos, Sergio Sebastian in Chueca, in addition to architects Teresa Sapey (Serrano and Hortaleza) and Ben Busche (Gran Vía, Mayor , Crossbow, Barrio de las Letras, etc) and the designer, Roberto Velazquez Turégano.

Between 25 November and 23 December, the Christmas lights will remain lit between 18 and 22 hours from Monday to Wednesday. 18 to 23 hours on Thursdays and Sundays, public holidays and eve of public holidays. Between 18 and 24 on Fridays and Saturdays.

– On 24 December and 5 January, the schedule will be from 18-3 pm.

-On December 31 is the day with more hours of power: 18 to 6 hours.

– Between December 25 and January 6 hours will be 18-23 hours.
