Madrid invites you to discover La Almudena

Today, capital Madrid holiday on the occasion of the feast of the Virgen de la Almudena, the consistory of the city is proposing an interesting quote to discover the charms related to the patron saint of Madrid. The initiative is a free, fully guided tour organized by the Tourist Board for those most important places related to this day. An interesting idea under the name “La Almudena, patron of Madrid”, allowing us to spend a day while learning excellent.

Today Madrid’s patron, the Virgen de la Almudena, the council is proposing an interesting activity to discover a little corner of the city and those lesser known but related to the holiday that allows us to enjoy a free day in Madrid. The idea is that both locals and visitors have a unique opportunity to enjoy a guided tour free of charge to learn a little more deeply into the capital.

The appointment is this afternoon at 18.00. The tour begins at Plaza Mayor. The first stop is in the Colegiata de  San Isidro, on the streets of Toledo. The route continues down the street Sacramento, which houses the Military Church, and continues down the street de la Almudena, the Cuesta de la Vega to reach the Catedral de la Almudena, you can see inside.

If you are interested it is important that you previously apuntéis Tourism Center of the Plaza Mayor because seating is limited.
