Madrid-Barcelona is the European route with more flights per day

According to the latest data made public in its annual survey, by the European Organisation for the safety of air navigation, Eurocontrol, flights to Madrid from Barcelona, or vice versa, are the main air route in Europe.

Although flights operated between the two cities during 2010 declined 13% compared to the year 2009, more of 28,000 flights during the year 2010 to 32.418 flights in 2009, the study reveals that the frequency between Madrid and Barcelona is 60% more than the second most important route in Europe, the Milan-Rome route.

Data aside, the truth is that both cities are a destination rather than appealing to spend a weekend off and get to know all its corners. To do this, please refer some flights here
