Tourism in Madrid, and where to study it

The latest data on tourism in Madrid, for the last month of March, still throwing good news. And the 684.279 people who visited the city in March, represent the highest for that month data, since the records are made.

The increase of visitors, mainly due to the increase of foreign tourists, an 8.5%. For its part, the percentage of nationals has increased 1%. In total, during the first quarter of 2011, Madrid has received 1.824.472 tourists visit, 3% more than in the 2010.

Regarding the overnight stays, March 2011 has also meant the highest figure since the records are made, and has had an increase of 6.5 per cent, over the same month of the previous year.

The figures have positively impacted in the tourism sector, which has experienced an annual increase of 4.3%, which makes this area one of the most sought after when looking for courses of tourism in Madrid.
